The original and reliable, single disc Jewel cases are rigid cases made from high quality polystyrene plastic and one of the most popular choices for CD Audio Albums, as well as the odd DVD Video .

There are a three basic parts to a CD Jewel Case, the front, the back and a tray that fits in the back part and holds the disc be it CD .

Normally supplied with either black trays or clear trays to hold the disc, a one disc jewel case takes a front insert and rear inlay for displaying disc information and look best when involving attractive and eye catching full colour printed designs. Jewel cases are synonymous with music CD albums, or as casing for CD ROMs or DVDs for computer software or games products.

Jewel cases have been in use since CDs were first used for CD Albums in the early 1980s and offer a professional finish and excellent presentation of your final production.
